About the project

The "Digital-Reskilling at Universities (D-Reskill@U)" project aims to improve people's employability by providing public universities with an online strategy for training and lifelong learning. Funded by the Erasmus+ programme, the project is led by Sorbonne University and brings together a consortium of 7 europeans partners.

This innovative project will provide :

A structuration of the teaching by "blocks of skills" and micro-credits
The production of the dynamic mock-up of the career guidance software
The implementation of a "smart catalogue" focused on learners that allows them to self-assess and pursue the training they are looking for.
A valorization of the acquired competences thanks to a micro-certification
A training program will be deployed for university staff and their governance in the form of workshops and "leadership schools".

The scheme, which will initially be deployed in the fields of chemistry and data sciences, will be built in accordance with the European Skills, Qualifications and Occupations (ESCO) database. The longer-term objective is to encourage higher education institutions to deploy this system on a larger scale in other disciplines.
